We invite you to make this lovely little drum for kids, great lovers of musical instruments, they enjoy it a lot. To create it use a can of powdered milk or coffee with a lid. The recycle for this nice project, forrándola and transforming it into this excellent toy. Do not miss it!
MATERIALS:
Aluminum cans, such as powdered milk or coffee, with cap 2 sheets of yellow construction paper 1 sheet of felt tan 1/2 sheet of felt fuchsia or magenta Lana fuchsia or magenta (or the same color you will use for the base) 1 rubber band Scissors Glue stick Common Glue Two wooden sticks Two small Styrofoam balls Lana blue
STEP BY STEP:
Remove the lid of the can and set aside. Line the tin with cardboard, pasting with glue stick, pressing to adhere well. Again using the glue stick, draw diagonal lines with glue, and then strike up fuchsia wool, without cutting up to give all around the can. Placing common glue on the edges and bottom of the can. Replace cover and apply glue. Then attach the can upside down (ie, supporting the lid) tan felt sore. With scissors, trim the excess leaving a falling edge of 3-5 cm. wrap the rubber band around the can to secure the felt to the sides. Cut 2 strips of felt Fuchsia 1.2 cm wide, enough length to encircle the whole can. Paste a strip on the top edge (on the rubber band) and one on the bottom. To drum sticks, insert the ends of the wooden sticks in styrofoam balls. Remove sticks momentarily, apply glue in the holes and re-insert the sticks so they are stuck. Place glue on the balls and cover them with blue wool. Do not forget to leave dry drum and drumsticks overnight before using.
